Join Us – Become a Freemason

Vitruvian Lodge No 87 is always looking for new members that share our ideals, cameraderie, and support for each other throughout life.

From the age of 21 any man can apply to join. Once accepted there are 3 main stages of evolution within the Lodge all marked by special ceremonies. From the starting stage as an Entered Apprentice to becoming a Master Mason usually takes approximately 2 years.

To be accepted as a Mason in our Lodge or others, you will need to:

• Be a man of at least 21 years of age
• Be of good moral character
• Have a personal belief in a supreme being
• Decide to become a Mason “of your own free will and accord”
• Have no expectation of any material gain or benefits
• Be loyal to your country
• Be dedicated to providing for your own family
• Conduct yourself in a manner that will earn the respect and trust of others
• Posses a desire to help others through community service and universal benevolence
